Williamsport is the county seat for Warren County. Williamsport is known for its quaint small-town community that prides itself on its natural beauty and small-town charm. There are several recreational opportunities to enjoy this beauty, such as the Williamsport Town Park, Harrison Park, and Old town Park. Williamsport Falls is a waterfall near the center of town it is the second-highest waterfall in Indiana a 1.6-mile loop trail within the park. Rock Creek Nature Preserve is just outside of town. Gladys and Al Wright Rock Creek Nature Preserve is an 80-acre native woodland that allows mushroom harvesting and other nature-based activities.
