Fountain County

Covington is the Fountain County seat and largest county town. Covington City Park is the community’s signature park with 35-acres offering a playground, native gardens, splash pad, basketball courts, soccer fields, disc golf, picnic shelters, tennis, baseball fields, public pool, stage, and a connection to the Circle Trail. Friends of the City Park are residents who have come together to replace aging playground equipment and maintain the cherished green space. Covington Circle Trail provides a partial loop around Covington, offering views of farmland, wetlands, and small wooded creeks. Plans are underway for completing the Circle Trail around the community.
