Battleground, Indiana is a town in Tippecanoe Township, Tippecanoe County, whose namesake is derived from the November 7th, 1811 Battle of Tippecanoe. Battleground borders Prophetstown State Park, Indiana’s newest state park. Local historic landmarks include Tippecanoe Battlefield Park, Tippecanoe Battlefield Memorial, and the Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum. The Prophetstown State Park offers a significant amount of recreational options as well as access to the Wabash Heritage Trail Access.
